The New X-Files Movie Behind the Peckman Alien Video?

All right, if you saw my last post about Jeff Peckman’s Alien Video, you’re probably wonder a lot of the same things that I am. First, what’s with this guy? It really, really odd that someone is petitioning the city council of a major US city, Denver, to set up an Extraterrestrial Committee. Second, he supposedly has a video that proves aliens exist that he filmed 4-5 years ago. Read that again, 4-5 years ago. Would you hold onto a video that proved aliens existed for that long? I think not.

So, there’s got to be a better answer, so I’ve been searching. I was reading an article about the entire spectacle/media stunt that Peckman is pulling by having a press conference to show this video, but that no one is allowed to record AND that no one from the public will be able to see the video until later in the year. Does that sound plausible? It doesn’t to me. While reading this article in the Denver Post, I came across this comment from reader D S (aka tRuStNoOnE) : “The timing of this news conference is suspect to me. Does anyone know what this Jeff Peckman does for a living? This could be hidden propaganda for the new X-files movie which is due out in July. It wouldn’t be the first time something disgusting like this was done. It’s a great way to build interest ahead of all of the standard promotion. I wonder if Peckman is on the 20th Century Fox/Ten Thirteen/X-files payroll?……”

There it is…that has to be it. There’s no other logical way to explain this ridiculousness. I’ll say this…as far as promotions go, this one is working. It’s gotten millions of impressions so far and if it turns out to be a promotion for the new X-Files movie, it’ll get even bigger.

  1. Peckman didn’t film the alien

  2. Grant is, of course, correct. Someone else filmed the alien and turned it over to Peckman to bring to the public. This certainly lends some more credibility to the situation. So, you film an alien and have incontrovertible proof of alien life. You’re rich. Simple as that. But, your plan? Give the video to someone else to take public. Sure, sure. That makes sense…no weird collusion there.

Besides, I figured I’d give Jeff some additional credit on the off chance he’s share some of this windfall from selling his documentary to us bloggers who have stood behind him.
